Mover
Mover in betting refers to a selection whose odds have significantly changed, either shortening (getting lower) or lengthening (getting higher) due to market activity, news, or other influencing factors.
A "market mover" is typically caused by heavy betting on one side, team news, injuries, or expert tips. If a horse starts at 6.00 odds but drops to 3.50, it is called a "big mover" because its chances are seen as improving. Likewise, if a team's odds drift from 2.00 to 3.00, it means the market has lost confidence in that selection.
Tracking movers can help identify value bets or signal important shifts in betting sentiment.
