Non-Runner
Non-Runner refers to a horse or greyhound that was scheduled to compete but is withdrawn before the race starts.
In most cases, if you placed a single bet on a non-runner, your stake is refunded. However, in multiples or accumulators, the bet typically continues with the remaining selections.
For ante-post bets (bets placed well in advance), stakes may be lost unless the bookmaker offers a Non-Runner No Bet (NRNB) promotion, which ensures a refund if the selection does not compete.
