Odds Against
Odds Against refers to a bet where the potential winnings are greater than the stake, meaning the implied probability of winning is less than 50%.
In decimal odds, this means any odds above 2.00. In fractional odds, examples include 3/2, 5/1, or 10/3, where the numerator (potential profit) is larger than the denominator (stake).
For example, if you place a €100 bet at 3.00 odds, your total return is €300 (profit of €200 plus your original stake). Odds against selections are considered underdogs in betting markets.
