Outsider
Outsider refers to a selection in a betting market that has a low probability of winning, often reflected in high odds.
Outsiders are considered underdogs, meaning they are less favored compared to other competitors. While they are unlikely to win, backing an outsider can result in large payouts if they pull off an upset.
For example, in a football match, if Team A is priced at 8.00 to win against Team B at 1.40, Team A is the outsider. In horse racing, an outsider is a horse with long odds that is not expected to finish in the top places.
