Parlay
Parlay is a type of bet that combines two or more selections into a single wager, where all selections must win for the bet to be successful. The odds of each selection are multiplied, resulting in a higher potential payout compared to individual bets.
For example, if you place a €50 parlay on:
- Team A to win at 2.00
- Team B to win at 1.80
- Over 2.5 goals in Match C at 1.90
The total parlay odds would be 2.00 x 1.80 x 1.90 = 6.84, meaning a €50 stake would return €342 if all three bets win. However, if even one selection loses, the entire bet is lost.
Parlays are high-risk, high-reward, and are known as accumulators (accas) in Europe. Some bookmakers offer parlay insurance or bonuses for multiple winning selections.
