Permutations or Perms

Permutations (Perms) in Betting refer to placing multiple bets that cover different combinations of selections to increase the chances of a return. Instead of relying on all selections winning, perm betting allows for partial success by covering different outcomes in smaller combinations.

For example, if you pick four teams (A, B, C, and D), you can place:

  • Doubles (AB, AC, AD, BC, BD, CD)
  • Trebles (ABC, ABD, ACD, BCD)
  • Four-fold accumulator (ABCD)

This means even if one or more selections lose, some combinations may still win, reducing risk compared to a straight accumulator. Permutations are popular in football, horse racing, and system bets like Lucky 15s, Heinz, and Goliath.
