Push

Push in betting refers to a situation where a bet results in a tie, meaning neither the bettor nor the bookmaker wins or loses. When a push occurs, the stake is refunded to the bettor.

Pushes commonly happen in point spread and total (over/under) bets when the final result lands exactly on the set line. For example:

  • If you bet on Team A -3, and they win by exactly 3 points, the bet is a push, and your stake is returned.
  • If you bet on Over 2 goals, and the match ends 2-0, the bet is a push, and you get your money back.

Pushes do not count as wins or losses and are often excluded from accumulator bets, reducing the total number of selections.
