Quinella Bet

A Quinella Bet is a type of horse racing wager where you pick two horses to finish in the top two positions, but they can finish in any order.

For example, if you bet on Horse A and Horse B in a quinella, you win if:

  • Horse A finishes 1st and Horse B finishes 2nd
  • Horse B finishes 1st and Horse A finishes 2nd

Unlike an Exacta bet, where the order must be correct, a Quinella offers more flexibility but lower payouts. It is popular in Australia and Hong Kong and is often used by bettors looking for a balance between risk and reward.
