System Bets
System Bets are a type of combination betting that allows bettors to cover multiple selections in different ways, increasing the chances of a return even if not all selections win. Unlike accumulators, where all selections must win, system bets include multiple combinations, so partial success can still yield a payout.
For example, a 3/4 system bet means you select four events, and your bet covers all possible three-fold combinations. If only three out of four selections win, you still get a payout.
Popular system bets include:
- Patent (3 selections, 7 bets)
- Yankee (4 selections, 11 bets)
- Super Yankee (5 selections, 26 bets)
- Heinz (6 selections, 57 bets)
- Goliath (8 selections, 247 bets)
System bets require a higher stake since multiple bets are placed at once, but they offer more flexibility and reduce risk compared to traditional accumulators.
